Women’s Empowerment and Economic Resilience Program
The Women’s Empowerment and Economic Resilience Program equips refugee women with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to build self-reliant and sustainable livelihoods. Through capacity-building initiatives, vocational training, and entrepreneurship support, the program enhances women’s ability to generate income and contribute meaningfully to their communities. Key Activities:
Conducting vocational and business management training.
Providing small grants or start-up support for women-led enterprises.
Organizing financial literacy and savings groups.
Facilitating mentorship and leadership development sessions.
Linking women to local markets and income-generating opportunities.
Through these interventions, Women Power empowers women to build sustainable livelihoods, reduce poverty, and contribute meaningfully to community development. The program ultimately envisions a society where every woman has the opportunity, skills, and confidence to thrive economically and socially.
Women Power is a women-led organization equipping refugee women and girls in Dzaleka Refugee Camp with the skills, capital, and confidence they need to become entrepreneurs and leaders.
